09 /10’s kick-starting the year in style

Colts 2009 and 10’s took part in the Clonduff Development Tournament bringing along 2 teams to Belvoir 4G. Both teams played brilliantly on the day with both making to the later stages of the main competition. One team was defeated in the semi-final and the other lost on penalties in the final. Always nice to win the silverware but most importantly they played six really competitive games each on the day holding their own against every team faced. It was great to see a few of the kids who have just joined the club at 2010 take part in their first outing after just a couple of weeks into their footballing journey.

The 2009 / 10 groups train as usual on Friday nights at Loughmoss, from 6.30 to 8pm. This season we will have up to 40 of our kids (boys and girls) playing in the IFA mini-soccer every Saturday. The momentum is building at our grassroots level and all children (boys and girls) of all ability are welcome to join us.

Another fantastic set of performances throughout the day by the whole team and every player contributed to the team. Many thanks to the coaches Mark Cunningham and Sean Smyth for helping on the day.
