09 boys win at 18th newtownabbey tournament for the 2nd year in a row.

On Sunday 22nd, the 09 boys were in Monkstown for a tournament were they were up against Ards Rangers, Dungoyne and Glentoran in their group. In a very evenly matched 1st game against Ards, a last minute wonder goal from gave Ards a 1-0 win. The boys greatly improved in the next 2 games beating Dungoyne 3-0 and Glentoran 3-1, finishing 2nd in the group. They met Linfield in the semi-final were a brilliant team performance gave Carryduff a 2-0 win for a derby final against local rivals Rosario. Carryduff dominated the game through out but a stubborn Rosario saw the game finish 1-1, with penalty’s to decide it. Carryduff scored their 1st two with Rosario missing their’s giving Carryduff the win and the trophy. Winning squad: Tom, Sean, Connor, Fintan, Joe, Kenzie, Lucas and Morgan.
